Kathmandu, Dec 15: The Sudurpaschim Royals has defeated the Pokhara Avengers by five runs in today’s second match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Cricket Tournament held at TU Cricket Ground Kirtipur.
The Pokhara Avengers managed just 148 runs at the loss of all wickets in 19.4 overs against the target of 154 runs given by Sudurpaschim Royals.
For the Pokhara Avengers, Andris Gaus made the highest 36 runs while Reman Refer contributed 33 runs.
Likewise, Kiran Thagunna made 32 runs, Dinesh Kharel 15 and Jen Malik 10 runs.
With this victory, the Sudurpaschim Royals has entered the playoff stage of the NPL.
