Bolivian authorities announced that at least 16 people were killed and 32 others injured when a passenger bus crashed in the Cochabamba city in central Bolivia.
Authorities said that initial reports indicated that 16 people were killed and 32 others were injured after the bus plunged into a 300-meter-deep ravine.
Police confirmed that only three bodies have been recovered, while the remaining bodies remain at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing, and authorities believe that the driver lost control of the bus, which plunged into an inaccessible area.
Last February, more than 30 people were killed and 15 others injured when a bus plunged into a ravine in the Potosi Department in southern Bolivia.
